- April's Pink Spring Moon: many flowers bloom and turn pink in April, Pink Moss is one of the earliest spring flowers. This is the time to sow the seeds of magick. If you are planting a magickal garden now is the time to start tending to your garden and planting seeds. It is a time for fertility as mother earth awakens after her winter slumber. Celebrates health and life force.
- May's Flower Moon: April showers brings May's flowers, when Mother Earth gives inspiration and beauty prevails. This is the time to plant the seeds you have empowered and as the seeds start to grow so will the energy you infused them with start to manifest in your life. This is also a good time to cast love spells and commitment spells. It is also a good time to rekindle romance or spark passion in your relationship.
- June's Strawberry Moon: strawberries bloom in June and have a very short season and can help remind us of the sweetness of life. Around June 21st is the Summer Solstice or Midsummer. This is the longest day of the year and Midsummer Night's Eve is a good time to commune with forest, field and garden gnomes, sprites and faeries. Midsummer is almost the classic time to perform magick of all types, healings, love spells and protection spells are especially suitable. Herbs can be dried over the ritual fire and you can leap the fire for renewed energy and cleansing.
- July's Thunder Moon: this is a time of many thunder storms which brings rain, the water of life. It is also called Buck Moon as this is the time that bucks grow their first antlers. It is a very masculine moon and a good time to concentrate on physical things in your life, your health and body or home repair. It is also a celebration of magick and life as your garden is yielding it's first crops. Gather your new herbs and and perform prosperity spells, open yourself to prosperity and abundance.
- August's Red Moon: as the moon rises it appears reddish through a sultry haze, this is a time for all lovers to pursue their passion. This is also the time to share your earth's abundance with others. Remember to give an offering back to the Goddess for her generosity. This is month to give thanks to the Universe and to yourself as well. Spend time with family.
- September's Harvest Moon: a time to be grateful and to reap what you have sown, literally and figuratively. The Harvest Moon is a time of prosperity, protection and abundance. The energy of the Harvest Moon will strengthen any magick designed to bring prosperity into your life or into the life of someone else. The Autumn Equinox is around September 21st and days and nights are again balanced, however light is giving away to increased darkness. It is a good time to collect plants and herbs for magick throughout the winter.
- October's Hunter Moon: the time when animals are fattening up for winter and we think ahead to winter needs and seek physical nourishment. It is a moon of protection, new goals and spirituality. Samhain, October 31 is said to be the time when the veil between the worlds is very thin. Samhain marks the symbolic death of the Sun God. This is a good time to align yourself with nature and animals and to find your own personal animal guides.
- November's Beaver Moon: the time when beavers were trapped to provide furs for the upcoming winter. This is a good time to work magick of abundance, prosperity, and to strengthen the bonds of family and friendship. This is also an excellent time to use divination to get an idea of what is up ahead. Remind yourself that although winter is coming, it will not last forever; and do what you can to reduce your stress.
- December's Cold Moon: during this month winter tightens it icy grip. This is a good time to rekindle the flames of your heart and soul. This is the full moon closet to the Winter Solstice and it is time for blessings on your home and family. Take time to notice that although your garden may be sleeping, life goes on around you. Keep your bird feeders full of bird seed and enjoy watching the birds.
